New Feature: Automatic and Manual Backups
We’re excited to introduce a new feature that will give you peace of mind and ensure the safety of your data: Backups!
Set Automatic Backups
You can now set an interval for automatic backups. This means your data will be saved at regular intervals without you having to lift a finger. You can choose the frequency that suits your needs and never worry about losing your records again.
Here’s how it works: When you set your backup to a specific calendar interval (like weekly), the system will only save the last change you made within that interval. For example, if you choose a weekly backup, any changes you make within the current week will overwrite the previous backup for that week. But when a new week starts, a new backup will be created. This way, you always have a snapshot of your most recent changes for each calendar interval.
Manual Backups
For those who prefer to have more control, we also offer the option to create backups manually. This allows you to save your data at any point you choose, those backups are never overwritten by the automatic backups.
Both of those methods only save the debts created by you, debts that are shared with you are not saved.
View and Restore
Not only can you create backups, but you can also view and restore any of them. This gives you the freedom to go back to any point in time and pick up right where you left off. Be careful, when you restore a backup, it will overwrite your current data, and shared debts created by you have to be shared again manually.
This feature is part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with the best user experience. We hope you find it useful and we look forward to hearing your feedback.
Please note: This feature is currently available for Premium subscribers. We’re always working on ways to enhance our app for all users, so stay tuned for future updates!
